Certification Offshore Finance and Administration
The ICSA Certificate in Offshore Finance andAdministration provides an introduction to the offshore finance sector.
The modules offered includes the general offshore finance environment and introductory modules on the concept of trusts and the principles of investment. It also includes the basics of company administration and accounting fundamentals. There are no formal entry requirements.
On successful completion, candidates are able touse the letters Cert.ICSA (Offshore Finance and Administration) after their names.
Candidates can then progress to study for the Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration which is the second stage towards full membership of ICSA.
Diplomain Offshore Finance and Administration
The ICSA Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration (DOFA) builds upon the under-pinning principles of the ICSA Certificate.
It is aimed at those with experience of the offshore industry who wish to develop their knowledge further. The Diploma is open to those who have successfully completed the ICSA Certificate in Offshore Finance and Administration or have gained an appropriate exemption. Modules at the Diploma level build on the basics taught at the Certificate level and include business management in Practice and the under-pinning concept of governance and reporting. It also includes offshore trust and companies administration and further work on investments in portfolio management.
On successful completion, candidates are able touse the designatory letters Dip.ICSA(Offshore Finance and Administration) after their names.
Candidates who gain the Diploma can continue their studies on the ICSA Professional Programme and pursue full status of Chartered Secretary.
ProfessionalProgramme Part I & Part II
The ICSA's International Qualifying Scheme (also referred to as the ICSA Professional Programme) is the broadest-based professional business qualification available, covering business, company law, corporate governance, management, finance/accounting, administration and company secretarial practice. Highly valued across the globe, it defines you as an individual with the skills,leadership and vision to make a real difference to the success of your organisation.
Once candidates have successfully completed theProfessional Programme exams, they are automatically transferred to the grade of Graduate and can use the designatory letters 'GradICSA' after their name.
ICSA offers fast track routes to Grad.ICSA status for members of certain professions or organisations. To find out how you canenhance your career options check the ICSA website.

The ICSA's International Qualifying Scheme is changing in June 2011 - more information is available on this page http://www.icsajersey.org.je/Training.php.
If you have not completed the COFA or DOFA programme by November 2010,you will automatically be transferred onto the new scheme. All the modules you have studied and passed on the current scheme will be credited against the new scheme. A letter confirming your personal arrangements for transferring onto the new scheme will be sent to you after the November 2010 examination results have been released.
Under the new scheme you will need to study and pass the same number of modules as you would under the current programme and you will continue to be assessed by examination only.
The new qualifying scheme will cover the same key areas as the current programme and will result in the same qualification.
